The thinking behind developing a tailoring project is that most young women who are interested in fashion and are designing in Africa are given less attention. The project aims to have a group of young women use the tailoring equipment offered by a UK organisation: Tools with a Mission. The women would be required to be trained or sponsored by their churches or other organisations which are interested in the empowerment of women. In return the women would be contributing $20 monthly towards creating a revolving fund.
